Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel has pulled out all the stops to celebrate Memorial Day weekend — with food, music, prizes and poolside drinks. Here are three ways to spend time at Southern California’s No. 1 resort and casino.
STARS, STRIPES & BOOTS POOL PARTY
If there’s any other time to rock your cowboy boots, Memorial Day weekend at Yaamava’ is the time to do it. The Southern California weather is the perfect accessory for hours of fun under the sun, listening to live music by the pool and overlooking the Highland hillsides.
Shotgun Jefferson, a Southern-California country band with rock and roll roots, will take the poolside stage and play their biggest hits, like California Country Folk and Bottle Rocket, during the Stars, Stripes & Boots Pool Party. A live DJ will also provide the year’s hottest music with corn-hole, giant Jenga and Connect Four on hand for anyone looking to have fun outside of the water.
While partygoers sign up for line dance lessons with Pepper from KFROG, bartenders at Helix Bar will have the Midway Blue at the ready. Guests can also enter to win tickets for upcoming shows at Yaamava’ Theater.
BBQ BANANZA
Rock & Brews will supply finger-licking BBQ sauce throughout the weekend with specialty delights for the holiday. A half-rack of BBQ baby back ribs with your choice of blackened or fried shrimp will make the perfect summer meal while taking a break in between spa treatments and free play drawings.
The rock & roll eatery will also serve a fire-roasted BBQ half chicken with blackened or fried shrimp. We dare you to pair it with the half-rack of BBQ baby back ribs for a fully loaded Memorial Day weekend dish.
WINNING WEEKEND
It’s a winning weekend that can’t be topped anywhere else. Over $1 million will be up for grabs at Yaamava’ throughout Memorial Day weekend in various drawings and tournaments for guests to partake.
Friday kicks off with the Memorial Day Free Play Mania where Club Serrano Members will have the opportunity to claim $100 in free play every hour during the holiday weekend. Members will also have the chance to try their hand at the $600,000 Blackjack Tournament.
