Country Night at Tukut Lounge is a weekly country music and line dancing night in Highland, California, held every Wednesday at Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel, 777 San Manuel Blvd. Doors open at 7:00pm and the live band starts at 8:00pm. There is no cover charge on Wednesdays, the dance floor is open all night, and guests must be 21 or older to attend.

What a Wednesday night looks like

A rotating lineup of live country bands plays through the Tukut Lounge sound system, the floor fills up between sets, and free giveaways go out during the night. Bring your cowboy hat and boots. The lineup changes weekly, the band you see in September is not the one playing next month. Check the schedule above before you drive out.

Tukut Lounge sits on the casino floor on the first floor of the resort, a country night here does not have to be the whole evening. Guests pair it with dinner on property, 18 bar top games at the lounge itself, and the rest of the casino floor a few steps away.

Know before you go

New to line dancing

There is no instructor and no class, this is an open floor rather than a lesson. Most first timers watch a song or two from the rail, pick up the pattern, and step in. Nobody is keeping score.

What to wear

Boots and a hat are the unofficial uniform and the easiest way to feel part of the room. The lounge dress code is only enforced Friday and Saturday from 9:00pm to 2:00am, so Wednesday is relaxed.

Getting a spot

Floor seating is limited and first come, first served, arriving near the 7:00pm door time is the difference between a table and standing. VIP Booths seat up to four and VIP Tables seat up to two.

Drinks

Craft cocktails and full bar service run Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 1:15am, the bar is open well before the band starts and stays open after the last dance.
