Culinary Celebrations: Chef Jet Tila’s Exclusive Lunar New Year Menus

Food Network star and culinary anthropologist Chef Jet Tila returned to Yaamava’ with an elevated Lunar New Year dining experience, offering exclusive menus at both bEATS and Hong Bao Kitchen. From January 20-March 31, guests enjoyed dishes such as the viral Thai Dumpling Bake, Dynamite Salmon Bowl, Thai Sweet Heat Wings, Teriyaki Beef Poutine, and Korean Short Ribs at bEATS.

From February 17 -24, Hong Bao Kitchen featured Jet’s special menu that included New Year’s Ultimate Fried Rice, Crispy Tamarind Beef, Spicy Wagyu Dan Dan Noodles, Long Life Noodles, and Typhoon Lobster with Garlic Rice. Additional culinary celebrations included Eight Days of Hong Kong Lobster at Serrano Buffet along with festive Lunar New Year décor and themed treats throughout the resort. Together, these offerings created a vibrant and memorable dining season for every guest.

 

Red Envelope Drawing

The $2.5 Million Red Envelope Drawings brought the Lunar New Year tradition of gifting red envelopes to life, giving Club Serrano members opportunities to win Free Play and other rewards throughout the promotional period. Guests earned entries by using their Club Serrano card during play from February 1-February 28. Drawings were held every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., during which winners selected a red envelope to reveal their prize.

The promotion concluded with a Grand Finale drawing, offering a substantial prize pool and an exciting close to the celebration of luck and prosperity.

 

The $200,000 Cherry Blossom Drawing

The $200,000 Cherry Blossom Drawing celebrated renewal with multiple chances to win throughout the month. Club Serrano members earned entries from February 1-February 23, with drawings held on Monday evenings. Three winners each hour received $1,000 to $3,500 in Free Play.

The final night of the promotion featured the same hourly prizes, followed by a Grand Finale in which five finalists selected an object to reveal their grand prize.

The Lunar New Year Porsche Drawings offered Club Serrano members the chance to win one of two luxury Porsche vehicles: a Porsche 911 GT3 RS or a Porsche 911 Turbo S. Guests earned entries from February 1-March 17 by using their Club Serrano card during play. Weekly qualifier drawings took place at BAR BAR BAR, and fourteen finalists advanced to the Grand Finale on March 17. One lucky winner ultimately drove home in a world‑class Porsche.

Yaamava’ enhanced its Lunar New Year celebration with three standout performances at Yaamava’ Theater. Mandopop legend Chao Chuan performed on February 15, bringing his signature emotional ballads to the stage. Korean ballad superstar Byun Jin Sub followed on February 16, showcasing the timeless vocals that made him an icon across Asia. On February 21, Hong Kong supergroup, The Big Four, delivered an energetic and nostalgic performance. Together, these artists created a lineup that honored and celebrated Asian music genres during the holiday season.

 

The Traditional Lion Dance

On February 17, Yaamava’ came alive with the energy of the traditional lion dance as a talented troupe moved through the casino floor to welcome the Year of the Horse. The performance blended rhythm, acrobatics, and cultural symbolism, with dancers working in perfect sync to mimic the movements of a powerful lion.

In Chinese culture, the lion dance is believed to sweep away bad luck and usher in prosperity, making it a meaningful way to celebrate the new year. Guests experienced an atmosphere filled with drums, color and the spirit of good fortune.

 

Win Sum Dim Sum

The Win Sum Dim Sum promotion added a flavorful twist to the casino floor. On February 18, Club Serrano members actively playing with their card participated in drawings held every 30 minutes. Each drawing awarded one winner $1,000 in Free Play along with fresh dim sum. Players seated on the same slot bank as the winner also received complimentary dim sum, creating a shared moment of luck and enjoyment.
